There is zero reason to give this restaurant less than 5 stars for their breakfast offerings. The restaurant ambiance is nothing to write home about and it's actually rather dingy however, what comes after it's appearance is a panoply of great service, a well designed and thought out menu and food that vibrates your palate with savory pleasure.
I ordered the shrimp and grits. I asked for a side biscuit (as my followers know this is a must.) the server Tracy was on point, friendly and was well versed in the intricacies of the menu.
The menu itself is almost overwhelming in its variety. Everything I watched come out of the kitchen appeared to be prepared properly and with fresh ingredients. My shrimp and grits was amazing. It had the kick of spice offset by the creaminess of the grits. Yes you heard me correctly. The cook used heavy cream while making the grits to give it a phenomenal texture.
You thought I forgot about the biscuit? Nay nay. It was homemade from scratch. Light fluffy buttermilk and bursting with taste. Thank you Sun On The Beach
